Hotel Perla

Stayed here for 4 nights in June of 2026. Had a great stay overall with only a few minor issues. First, the positives: - Great location in central part of old Prague. Five minute walk to the main city square and ten minute walk to the Charles Bridge. Nice neighborhood and tons of restaurants/bars nearby. - Room was a good value. I liked the black tile bathroom and overall modern finish to the room. Very comfortable. - Room was quiet at night - WiFi worked great. - Staff was helpful - Good value for the price. A few issues: - While staying here I had one load (8 pieces) of laundry done and it was pretty overpriced. The issue is I had 5 pairs of shorts get cleaned but they don't have a price category for shorts so I had to pay for the jeans/trousers category for each pair of shorts - which ended up around $12 USD per pair of shorts....yeah. The laundry did come back quickly (in about 5 hours) and it was all nicely cleaned and pressed, but it was just very expensive for a modestly sized load of laundry. They need to rethink the laundry service and how it is priced. - The buffet breakfast was convenient but didn't feel all that fresh. Huge selection but I think quality over quantity would be better, like an omelet bar.

The Hotel is central to restaurants, cafes and bars. It is also within walking distance to the centre of the Old Town and tourist attractions. The Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is very good and has plenty of choice. The room was clean and tidy. Although, the mattress needs replacing on the twin beds and the pillows need to be firmer. Due to being a central location it can be a bit noisy, due to people being drunk around the street area at night.

The location is fantastic- the metro station is only a couple of minutes away from the hotel, the attractions are walking distance. The staff were polite and helpful. The room itself was nothing special and didn’t quite feel super clean. The variety of breakfast food was also great. The only downside is the noise. There are a couple of bars nearby and we got woken up every single night by extremely loud drunken people who were either shouting or singing. This is the only reason i would reconsider staying at this hotel. The night time is for resting for us, especially spending the whole day walking around and sightseeing and we were not able to get the quality sleep.

I enjoyed my stay at Perla Hotel, but a few reasons made me want to give 4/5. First, the TV screen fell in my hands at the very moment I touched it. Not really reassuring regarding the general safety. You need to go up around 10 steps before reaching the elevator. Good to know if you plan to travel with heavy suitcases or disabled. Also, the door to our shower room wouldn’t close properly. Otherwise, the breakfast was really decent and the location perfect. Shout out to the smiling staff.

This hotel is situated very centrally in Prague. It is less than 10 minutes from the Old Square and "The Clock". It is also 10 minutes from Wenslaslas Square. The castle was about a 35 minute walk. There are lots of places to eat within 5 minutes. We tried a couple of Czech restaurants, both were excellent. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight was late afternoon, but it was no trouble for them to store our luggage for the day. Breakfast was as little or as much as you wanted to eat. There was cornflakes, granola. Ham, cheese, breads, olives, fruits, local cakes, toast, juices, coffees - hot and iced, teas, yoghurts, sausages, bacon, eggs, soup and much more! Would recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and fantastic staff. Well done Perla!
