Hotel Don Giovanni

Stayed whilst on a short break to Prague. Hotel is a little way out of the centre but the metro system is so good, it's really easy to get to and the station is literally next door. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Shower has good pressure. All the staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is a wide selection of cold meats, cured meats, cheeses, salad, breads, fruit, plus hot foods. Particularly impressed by the completely separate gluten free and lactose free selection. We also ate in the restaurant and was very impressed by the food quality and value.

A very beautiful hotel with elegant decor and a lovely atmosphere. The live piano music in the lobby created such a welcoming mood. Our room was spacious, spotless, and located on an upper floor with a wonderful view. Breakfast was superb — delicious, varied, and definitely a highlight of our stay. The room included a hot‑water kettle with complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was large and well designed, with a shower, bathtub, and a separate toilet. There is also a spa available for guests, but we checked in later in the evening and it was already closed, so we didn’t get to try it this time. The hotel is very close to Prague’s city centre, with tram and metro stops right outside. It takes only a few minutes to reach the historical parts of the city. We stayed just one night, but we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Blown away by the quality of this hotel. The rooms are so comfortable, spacious and nice. There's always an interesting pianist playing in the lobby. And the receptionists are truly beyond exceptional. Especially Ivan, Patrick, Maxim and Zuzana. Very grateful! I had an amazing time.

Good place to stay. Things were smooth. My currency exchange was seamless and the staff go above and beyond to help you. A young friendly gentleman at the reception called Maxim helped little things sort out and was hospitable 😊. There is an inhouse bar that serves really good margarita . The buffet was good . They were about to close the dining area at night but then they still dispensed some food to eat in the room . Kind of them. If i ever visit prague again . This will be my stay at ♥️♥️.

If you are staying in Prague for an extended time, and you can afford an upgrade to the junior suite- this room is an oasis. That is, it is a large room in a circular design with a sitting area and the bedroom having separate access to the toilet which is separate from the bathtub and shower area. There are also two closets so if one person is getting up to go out the other isn’t bothered. There are 2 air conditioning controls- one for the sitting area and one for the bedroom. Both worked well. There are blackout shades. The junior suite also gives you access to the executive lounge on the 10th and 11th floors. It has a kids play area, a table/work space area, a well stocked drink area with juices, beer, soda, water and coffee/espresso. There is also outdoor access to tables. The refrigerator is well stocked with drinks for reasonable prices. The hotel has a gift shop, a dress shop, a pool table/sports tv area, and a restaurant. The WiFi was okay. The reception area people are very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this hotel is that it’s a bit removed from the touristy areas (about 45 min walk). However, you are close to the subway and tram so download the Pid Lítačka app and set up your account and you can be there in 15 minutes.
