Hotel Andel's Design
About this hotel
The hotel Andel's of Prague was designed to be the heart of an entirely new building complex called "Andel City". It brings a whole new dimension of style and hospitality to Hotels in Prague . It is a four-star plus hotel, which strives to provide everything for its demanding guests: comfortable, stylish rooms with state-of-the-art equipment, a top notch health and relaxation centre, great dining and a very modern conference centre.
The hotel was designed by the British architecture practice Jestico + Whiles as the centrepiece of the wider Anděl City redevelopment, one of the largest urban regeneration projects undertaken in Prague after 1989, transforming a formerly industrial stretch of Smíchov. Guests enter through an oversized pivoting door into a lobby lined with textured limestone and roughly hewn stone, where a marble-topped reception desk and semi-transparent, metallic-threaded curtains give the space a distinctly contemporary character. At its centre, a staircase enclosed by etched-glass walls offers a modern reinterpretation of the grand staircases found in Prague's older hotels.
Location: The hotel is excellently placed in the heart of Prague, on the left bank of the river, in a part of the "Smichov" district. All the historical sites can be reached in no time by public transport, or also on foot. "Novy Smichov: is an upscale shopping centre where you can find just about anything you need. The Andel are is a crossroads for the underground metro, and many trams have routes passing through the area.
Location
The Anděl area takes its name from a former Golden Angel pharmacy that once stood nearby, and it has become one of Prague's busiest transport hubs, with the Anděl metro station on line B connecting guests directly to the Old Town and city centre in a few stops. Adjoining the hotel's Anděl City complex is the striking Zlatý Anděl building designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, one of Smíchov's most recognisable pieces of contemporary architecture. The district is also home to the Staropramen brewery, one of the Czech Republic's major beer producers, and lies within walking distance of Bertramka, the villa where Mozart stayed and worked while in Prague, now a small museum dedicated to him.
Room Description: The 239 rooms with state-of-the-art equipment are spacious and flooded by light from the high floor-to-ceiling windows. The furniture is simple and discrete. Bathrooms have heated floors, and loudspeakers in the ceilings, connected to the DVD-CD players in the room. Rooms have minibar, individually adjustable air-conditioning, safe, trouser press data port connections for the Internet access. There are rooms equipped for disabled guests and 100 rooms reserved for non-smokers. The bathrooms are spacious and features separate bathtub and shower, hairdryer and cosmetic bar.

The hotel does not disappoint. Modern interior and rooms. Clean room, good beds and large enough bathroom. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, everything you can think about. Next to machine coffee they have a barista bar, a juice bar, and a chef is cooking eggs. The location can't be better, at a metro and different tram stops and close to a bridge with boat bars. The service is 5*, we forgot 2 rain jackets in a cupboard (it didn't rain :-) . After contacting the hotel they will mail them to our home address. We will definitely return next time in Prague.
I am really impressed by the hotel. The location is really good, near the subway, tram and shopping mall. The room is modern, super clean, and the TV is brand new. The internet is really fast and easy to connect. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, with many options and a barista to prepare the coffee too. The products in the room are also of great quality. They have a water dispenser on each floor, which is great to not waste water bottles. Loved the experience.
Very nice hotel, good location far away from Old this tourist and crowded places we love to stay here we stayed in the first floor with the balcony and enjoyed it. The room was very well designed very clean and the personal in the Lobby are very lovely. We had a parking which is very important for Prague and next to us was a shopping centre and everything what you need could buy there we really enjoyed our stay and we will come again.
I’m very happy with my stay at OREA. Easily one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a major European city. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful and hygienic. The bathtub was a very welcome addition, and the toiletries provided felt luxurious and well taken care of. The room was always cleaned properly and we had no complaints. The breakfast was also of high quality and offered a wide selection of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect. With a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a metro station and tram stop only one minute away, you could reach almost any location in Prague with ease! There are also many nice restaurants in the surrounding area, as well as a huge shopping mall. If you’re planning a trip to Prague, I highly recommend staying here, and I would definitely stay here again myself!
Well located just 5 mins to Novy Smichov mall where Tesco is anchor tenant. Huge range of bread made chosing difficult. There are some small food stalls as well as regular mix. Decathlon is there too. Love the nice size of rooms with clean, comfortable beds and toilet. Better if heaters in room were available. Also had to ask for use of hot water kettle. Staff were attentive, helpful. Breakfast spread is very scrumptious with wide range of Western laid out on long side of dining room. Best of all they have Netflix app in a 45inch TV in room. Given this is no more hi-tech most hotels were have been to don't have this as standard.
