The newly opened Ventana brings to Prague a 5 star hotel that is not part of a chain, but rather has a unique style and spirit that complements the city well. The building dates to 1884 and was raised in the Neo-Renaissance style typical of Prague's late 19th-century town palaces, with high ceilings and period detailing that have been retained through its conversion into a boutique hotel. Its position on Celetná, one of the oldest and most continuously used streets in the Old Town, places guests inside a stretch of the city that has served as a coronation and market route since the medieval period.
Location
Location: The Ventana Hotel is located in the very centre of Prague, right in the Old Town Square, along the old Royal Route. The views are excellent, there is much to do and see in the neighborhood, and getting out of the city centre is easy, as there is a metro and trams in the area.
The hotel stands on Celetná street, one of the Royal Route's historic thoroughfares linking the Powder Tower to Old Town Square, with the entrance around the corner on Štupartská. Old Town Square and its Astronomical Clock are only a short stroll away, and the Church of Our Lady before Týn rises directly behind the building. Staroměstská metro station on line A is about a ten-minute walk, giving a quick connection across the river toward the Castle district.
Rooms
The 30 rooms are tasteful and spacious, and each has a unique décor and shape. There are cream colored sofas chairs and carpets, canopy beds or beds with cloth hanging. Some rooms have lofts above the sitting area. All rooms have air conditioning, minibars, safes, phones, high-speed Internet hook-up, radios, cable TV, bidets, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers. Price includes breakfast.

Excellent location for exploring the center of Prague - close to high end shopping, old town square, the Jewish quarter and a reasonable walk to the Charles Bridge. Solid service, an extensive breakfast. I’d happily stay here again.
Worst hotel i ever stayed, no usb outlets, we couldn’t charge our phones, WiFi didn’t work at all, no final fifa games! AC didn’t work at all. I relied on reviews to choose this hotel, but it was a huge mistake! I do not recommend this hotel!!
A very good hotel with spacious rooms, almost right in the old town square. The location alone is enough for a 5 star rating.
Location is incredible, rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast included is a nice perk . Beds were ok but not my favorite being a taller man. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling as a family.
Another city to explore and another great hotel find. We spent 3 nights at the Ventana Hotel. The location was perfect right off the main square but still quiet - sometimes a tough combination. The front desk daytime staff was extreme kind and helpful. The 'loft room' was great (a downstairs 'living room space' with bed and bath upstairs). Note there are no windows on the first floor and limited views from the second floor but this turned out to be fine - we'd happily stay in the spacious loft rooms again. Decent and comfortable breakfast. Thanks Ventana!
